He was predeceased by: his parents, John Scholz and Irene Scholz; and his brother Charles Scholz. He is survived by: his son John Paul Scholz (Nicole); his grandchildren, Asher and Blaire of Naples, Florida; his son Jacob Conner Scholz (Ellie); his grandchildren, Jude and Kathryn of Muscatine; his siblings, Michael Scholz (Joni) of Monmouth, Oregon, Suzanne Roberts (Frank) of Port Orange and Phillip (Carla) of Canton; his sister-in-law Tracy Scholz (late Charles) of Rayland, Ohio.; Ashley Nicole Witt of Cape Coral, Florida.
