She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry "Bud" Stewart and Mary Jo Stewart; her significant other Randy "Otis" Wendel; and also, John and Mary Ann Wendel (Fiely).
She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Britany Adams (Cory) of Coldwater and Taylor Flaute (Travis) of St. Henry; her grandchildren, Devyn, Dawson, Darcy, Riley and Hallie; her brother Court Stewart (Sue) of Steubenville, Ohio; her nephews, Clay Stewart (Amanda) of Lexington and Pat Stewart (Whitney) of Lincoln, Nebraska; her great-nephews, Theo and Calvin; and her in-laws, Pam Hicks (David) of Fort Recovery, Gary Wendel (Margie) of Fort Recovery, Joyce Wilker (Dan) of Fort Recovery and Wanda Fields of St. Henry.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Brockman Boeckman Funeral Home (308 S Wayne St, Fort Recovery, OH 45846). A graveside service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Holly Memorial Gardens (73360 Pleasant Grove Rd, Dillonvale, OH 43916).
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to slip on your brightest shoes, enjoy a little chocolate and peanut butter, and think of her. In honor of Leslie's mother, the family request that memorial contributions be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
