With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Ann Simkovich of Dillonvale, Ohio, born in Martins Ferry, Ohio, who passed away on May 17, 2022 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Merkel and Marie Merkel (Stock); her husband John Simkovich; and her brother Larry Merkel. She is survived by: her siblings, Bill Merkel (Carol) of Dillonvale and Karen Kelner (Jeff) of Adena. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
