Russell Westling Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 30, 2025, at the age of 88, Russell Westling of Dillonvale, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Andrew and Anna Westling (Futey); his brothers, George Westling, James Westling, Douglas Westling, Clifford "Kip" Westling and Johnny Westling; his son-in-law Rick Jenkins; and his brother-in-law Harold Cunningham.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Westling (Vargo); his children, Brian Westling (Anita), Stephanie Whitaker (Dan), Heather Westling, Lori Kelly (Todd) and Greg Novak (Kelley); his grandchildren, Brittany McCabe, Drake, Lance, Kasey Novak, James Blazy and Jack Kelly; his great grandchildren, Kenna, Matthew and Levi McCabe; and his sisters, Regina Patterson (Doug) and Carol Cunningham. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (154 2nd St, Dillonvale, OH 43917). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holly Memorial Gardens (73360 Pleasant Grove Rd, Colerain, OH 43916). A committal service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at the Holly Memorial Garden (73360 Pleasant Grove Rd, Colerain, OH 43916).
