We bid farewell to Barbara Ellwood (Dover, Ohio), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 1, 2025 at the age of 91. Barbara touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Dean and Elizabeth Josephine Hootman Hawkins; her former husband James J. Breehl; her husband William Ellwood; her son Richard Lee Breehl (Amy Ellwood); her brother Richard Hawkins; and her grandchildren, Joshua Breehl and Shelly Marie Breehl.
She is survived by: her children, James A. Breehl (Laura) of New Philadelphia, Kathy McIntire (Raymond) of Stone Creek, Tim (Kathy Ellwood) and Mark (Amy Ellwood); her daughter-in-law Gaylene Breehl of Midvale; her sister Judith Cochran of New Philadelphia; her sister-in-law Marti Hawkins of Indiana; and her grandchildren, Sarah Young (BJ), Matt Breehl, Aber McIntire and Samantha McIntire. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, as well as her nieces and nephews.
