He is survived by: his wife Lora Hendricks; his daughter Casey Illig (George Elliott) of New Albany; his grandson Mason Illig (Serina Smith); and his siblings, Rebecca Childers (Tom) and David Illig (Judy). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
