He was predeceased by: his parents, George T. Rieger and Clara Rieger (Welsch); and his siblings, Betty Alpeter, Ruth Sieber, Kathryn Bixler and Bobby Rieger.
He is survived by: his wife Armella Rieger (Corbett); his daughters, Patricia Rieger, Linda Mason (Jeff) and Mary Rufener (Mark); his stepgranddaughters, Lauren MacGregor (Andrew) and Kara Rufener; and his great grandchildren, Maria, Anastasia, Veronica Mason, Audrey, Jack, Ellie Pfeiffer and Reese Porter.
