He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald W. Deal and Evelyn E. Reagan Deal; his son James Deal; and his brother David L. Deal. He is survived by: his wife Mary C. Doll; his children, Catherine Deal of Columbus, Donald Deal (Brenda) of Mooresville, Denise Cuddy (Jim Jones) of Hilliard, Dennis Deal (Stacey) of Lewis Center and Susanne Gray (Justin) of Medina, Ohio; his grandchildren, Sam Deal, Andrew Cuddy, Bailey, Dennis, Davis Deal, Ayden, Noah, Addison Shuman, Jacob and Dylan Gray; his sister-in-law Thelma Deal of Melbourne, Florida; his niece Leanne Mason; and his nephews, David Deal and Rick Greene.
