In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Dwayne's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his father Omer; his brother-in-law John DeLong; and his pet Dallas. He is survived by: his mother Ruby "Edna" Graves Sexton of Strasburg; his sons, Justin Atkins (Kasie) of Canton and Brandon Atkins of Dover; his siblings, Steve Atkins (Yvette) of Tennessee, Dan Atkins (Kristi) of Strasburg, Scott Sexton of Canton, Regina Rummes of Uhrichsville and Suzi DeLong of Strasburg; and his grandson Wyatt Shane Atkins. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Franklin Terrace Community Center (316 S Bodmer Ave, Strasburg, OH 44680).
