In the vast expanse of eternity, Iommiesene shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Iommiesene farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Ray and Blanche Bernice Ray (Curtis); her husband Willie Perry Sherrell; her son Dennis P. Sherrell; and her granddaughter Makaya R. Sherrell.
She is survived by: her son Ray; her daughter-in-law Kim Sherrell of New Philadelphia; her great grandchild Jazzy Ray Sherrell; her brother Curtis Ray of California; and her half-siblings, Winston Ray of Portland, Melinda Ray of Dover and Effron Ray of Canton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Geib Funeral Center (5600 N Wooster Ave, Dover, OH 44622). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Gospel Temple (1612 Tuscarawas St W, Canton, OH 44708).
