He was predeceased by: his parents, John Murray and Katie Murray (Polka) of Dover; and his daughter-in-law Carrie Murray. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Berger; and his children, Troy and Michelle Murray Yang (Fumin).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in John's memory to Shanesville Lutheran Church in Sugarcreek.
