Norma McNutt Obituary

Norma J. McNutt, 82, of Dover, passed away in Hennis Care Center at Dover on Friday, January 22, 2016 following a period of declining health Born in New Philadelphia on March 4, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Forrest and Delores (Fisher) Morris. On October 4, 1951, she married the late Clyde R. McNutt. Her faith was nurtured at Roxford United Methodist Church for many years.

She was also a clerk for Farmer Smith's Market. Norma loved her family and spending time with them. She also enjoyed yard sales and going out to eat. Norma will be missed by her children Terry (Sue) McNutt of Medina, James McNutt of Mt. Perry, and John (Marcia) McNutt of Tuscarawas; her half-sister, Evelyn Myers of Youngstown; her half-brother, Charles (Debbie) Hilderhoff of Youngstown; 7 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her grandparents who raised her, Curtis and Margaret Fisher, her sister, her half-brother, one granddaughter, and one great-grandson. Visitation will be held in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia on Tuesday from 11 to 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens alongside her husband.

Friends and family are invited to the Geib Family Center, adjacent to the funeral home, where a meal will be shared following the burial service.
