She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wise and Helen Hare Wise; her husband John "Gene" Kennedy; and her sisters, Eilein Liberatore, Mary Jane Wise and Marguerite Ledger.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Kennedy of Dover, Jack Kennedy (Connie) of Bellville and Bryan Kennedy (Megan) of Hudson; and her sister Jacqualynn Sandy (Vince) of Dover. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
