He was predeceased by: his parents, Ford Atkinson and Pauline Maybaugh Atkinson Harrold; his son Kevin Atkinson; and his son-in-law Rick Swain. He is survived by: his wife Clara Schupp Atkinson; his children, Perry Atkinson (Michele) of Bolivar, Cindy Swain of Texas and Jeff Atkinson (Meghin) of Ashland; and his sisters, Connie Wilson (Gary) of Navarre and Sherry Hamner (Don) of Navarre. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four nephews.
