He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond T. Janson and Ida May Janson (Lostetter); his wife Dorothy Janson (Aschbacher); his daughter Laurie Janson Zimmerman; and his sisters, Betty Ann Janson, Vivian Russell (Carl), Lois Jacobson (Robert) and Patricia Thayer (George).
He is survived by: his children, Robert "Robbie" Janson (Diane), Connie Honsberger, Ruth Little and Lisa Janson Waller. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home- Strasburg (140 S Bodmer Ave, Strasburg, OH 44680). A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grandview Union Cemetery (4288 Dundee Strasburg Rd NW, Strasburg, OH 44680).
