We announce the death of Shelva J. Harmon of Dover, Ohio, who passed away on October 24, 2026, at the age of 89. Shelva will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marian Burkholder (Berndt) and Harold Burkholder; her daughter Laura Lee Harmon; and her sisters, Mary Lou Burkholder and Deanna Kay Reidy.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Hoppy" Harmon; her children, Paula (Rob Frevola) and Eric Harmon; her pets, Chloe, Layla and Tucker; her niece Teresa McCombs (Dave); and her nephew James "David" Reidy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home- Dover (803 N Wooster Ave, Dover, OH 44622). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Dover Burial Park (5651 N Wooster Ave, Dover, OH 44622).
