He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry E. Hutras and Maude Hutras (Edwards); his grandson Aleksandr Hutras; his great grandchild James Sherer; and his siblings, Opal Chaudrue, Louis Hutras, William Hutras, Harry Hutras, Marijane Judy and Alex Hutras.

He is survived by: his wife MaryLou Lawless; and his children, Maude, Margaret Crites (David "Whitie") of Tuscarawas, Tommie Maureen Kennedy of Dover and Gus Hutras (Randee) of Santa Fe, Texas..

Memorial contributions can be made to the Community Hospice Truman House, 716 Commercial Ave SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
