With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Valerie Holtz of Dover, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 20, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Chalfant and Dorothy Chalfant (Peltier); her children, Stuart Lorimer, Randy Lorimer, Jack Holtz Jr. and Dannie Jane Phillips; her siblings, Lynn Chalfant and Marilynn Bell; and her grandson Aaron Snyder.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jill Vaughan (Jay) of Sherrodsville, OH and Sonja Snyder of Sarasota, FL; her daughters-in-law, Christy Holtz of El Paso, TX and Maria Lorimer of Lemon Grove, CA; her sister Sharon Boger of Cardington; and her grandchildren, Nick Lorimer (Katie), Shawna Scott (Travis), Stacey Poloncarz (Scott), Jay P. Vaughan (Lillie), Joshua Holtz (Cindy), Ashley Holtz, Ethan Holtz, Judith Durazo (Javier) and Ana Silva. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
