She was predeceased by : her parents, Louis Whitman and Eleanor Whitman (Henley); her husband James W. Hanawalt; her granddaughter Jessica Hanawalt; her siblings, Helen Bond (Bud), Mary Berger (Walt), Jean Johnston (Dick), Tom Whitman (Nancy) and Louis "Jake" Whitman; her brother-in-law Joseph Koprivnik; and her children, Mark Hanawalt of Doylestown, Denise Bindreiter (Harry) of Akron, Keith Hanawalt (Deb) of Doylestown and Kathy Raudabaugh (Bruce) of Eastlake.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Nicci Chojnacki (Eric), Meagan Poole (Michael), Sarah Sebrell, Cory Hanawalt (Katy), Chelsea Walker (Ben) and Brian Raudabaugh (Whitney); her sisters, Amy Isaac (Nick) of Stow, Norma Koprivnik and Janet Arvin (Jim) of Doylestown; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Kay Whitman and Marie Bower. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
