He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Donald Young Sr. and June Cameron (Greene); his grandson Cameron Philip Gerney; and his brother John William Cameron. He is survived by: his wife Jackie; his daughters, Jamie Lindeman (Greg) of Charlotte, NC and Melissa Gerney (Blake) of Sharon Center, OH; his grandchildren, Addison, Brauch, Payton Lindeman, Quinn, Haley and Avery Gerney; and his brother David Cameron of Fort Worth, TX. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the American Cancer Society.
