He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Charles and Esther Ross; his stepgrandmother Helen Helmick; and his grandparents, Raymond and Betty Sweet.
He is survived by: his parents, David Ross and Susan Ross of Wooster; his brother Mason Ross (Olivia) of Doylestown; his fiancé Timmy McCoy; his siblings, Tonya, Emaleigh, Ryan, Chris, Justin, Nathan, Brandon, Hayli, Irelyne, Drayden and Kendyl; Terrisa McNeely of Marysville, OH. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home (132 Portage St, Doylestown, OH 44230). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Gavins's honor to Tugaloo State Park in GA or to the National Parks Service.
