With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry E. Long of Doylestown, Ohio, born in Wadsworth, Ohio, who passed away on April 15, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Earnest E. Long and Dortha M. Long (Howell); and his siblings, Marilyn Barker, Henry Long, Donald Long, Doris Butler, Karen Smith, Robert Long, Glenda Bauders and Lavonne M. Mitchell.

He is survived by : his wife Norma Jones; his children, Shelly M. Steele (Galen) of Doylestown, Regina M. Kraft (John) of Catawba Island and Scott A. Long (Sherry) of Nashport; and his grandchildren, Jacob Steele (Courtnie), Dylan Hamilton (Kristin), Emily Osting (Jordan), Alexia Kraft, Kaleb Long, Kristofor Mesaros, Derek Kraft, Kendall Kraft and Karlee Mesaros. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Auble-Gillman Funeral Home (360 W Sunset Dr, Rittman, OH 44270). A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
