It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John J. Shankland of Doylestown, Ohio, who passed away on January 18, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John J. Shankland to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Herman and Helen Mary Shankland (Whitman) of Doylestown Ohio; and his siblings, Evelyn Whitman Bradshaw (Ed), Anthony, James F. Shankland and Patricia E Koch.

He is survived by : his wife Colleen Bachman; his daughters, Denise Millar (Robert), Jeanien Frantz (Brian Gray) and Jennifer Anderson (Eric); his granddaughter Sarah Frantz; his siblings, Theresa A. Nitz (Stan) and Gerald R. Shankland; his brother-in-law Thomas J. Koch; and his close friends, Seth Houser, Michael Ashcraft and Jay Thompson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
