He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Chalkey" DeWitt and Norma Bevington DeWitt; and his brother Mitch DeWitt. He is survived by: his daughter Alaina DeWitt of Philo; his brother Mike DeWitt of Millersburg; his sister-in-law Judy DeWitt of Glenmont; and his close friend David "Fuzzy" Yoakem of Fredericksburg.
