He was predeceased by: his father Michael E. Erdman; his grandparents, John "Jack" and JoAnn Erdman; and his uncle David Erdman. He is survived by: his wife Nanako Kamata-Erdman; his children, Liliko "Lilly" of Japan and Alexander "Alex" Erdman; his mother Julie Erdman of Doylestown; his brother Bryan Erdman (Brittany); his nieces and nephews, Alivia and Alaina "Lainey" of Wadsworth; his grandparents, Raymond and Beverly Eads of Wadsworth; his aunts and uncles, John Erdman of Medina, John Eads of Rittman, Andrew Stano of Wadsworth, Joanne Stano of Wadsworth and Jeanne Wilson (Andrew) of Silver Lake, OH; his parents-in-law, Tadahisa and Yaeko Kamata; and his brother-in-law Kem Suke Kamata.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for support of his daughter Lilly's education.
