She was predeceased by: her husband Barney; her parents, Rachel Bernhardt and Roy Bernhardt; her brother Tom Bernhardt; her son Gary Dodson; and her granddaughter Marisa Smock.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jill Smock (Chad) and Linda Tempesta (Anthony); her grandchildren, Lexi Waller (Jeffrey), Tori Dodson, Nick Smock (Selena LaBair), Bane Dodson (Erica), Domenic Tempesta and Luca Tempesta; and her daughter-in-law Melanie Ciotti. She is also survived by her family, her friends.
