She was predeceased by : her parents, Ted D. and Mary E. Howard (McCarty); her husband Bob; her brothers, Frank and John Howard; and her sister-in-law Sandy Howard.

She is survived by : her daughter Niki L. McKay of Hilliard; her grandson Carson McKay; her siblings, Jane Slaughter (Paul) of Marysville and Ted Howard of Marysville; her sisters-in-law, Angie Howard Greenwood and Lisa Howard; her great-nephews, Pete Slaughter (Tracy), Britni (Matt) and Bash Creeger; her friends, Mary Wells, Rachel Ward and Janice Hallwachs; her much loveds, Bichon and Sheldon; and her nephews, Matthew and Eric Howard. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.

In Charlene's memory, contributions may be made to Kobacker House, 800 McConnell Dr., Columbus, Ohio, 43214, or in care of the funeral home where contribution cards will be available during service time.
