Emmett E Walden Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on March 5, 2026, at the age of 96, Emmett E Walden in Dublin, Ohio, born in Sherman, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Emmett farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Emmett is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He is survived by: his significant other Dolores Walden (Morock); his children, Teresa Thimmes (Todd), Sandy Priwer (Dave), Brenda Gibson (Bill), Mike Walden (Julia) and Mark Walden (Kimberly); and his sister-in-law LaVerne Walden. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, a favorite charity of Emmett and Dolores.
