He was predeceased by: his mother Beverly Messineo. He is survived by: his father John Messineo (Jane); his significant other Gail; his brothers, Brad and Erik; his uncle Paul; his aunt Marie; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn, Gary and Steven. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Egan-Ryan Funeral Home (4661 Kenny Rd, Columbus, OH 43220). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations to honor John may be made Blood Cancer United, The Hope Lodge of Cleveland Ohio, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
