He was predeceased by: his wife Maria J. Sanchez (Fina); his parents, Mercedes Angulo Sanchez and Mario Sanchez; his parents-in-law, Antonia Gonzalez and Marcelino Garcia-Meras; his brothers, Armando and Enrique Sanchez; his son-in-law Richard Hollingsworth; his brother-in-law Carlos J. Mills; and his nephew Carlos E. Mills.

He is survived by: his children, Elsie Sanchez and Mario Sanchez (Kay); his sister Marcia Mills (Carlos); his grandchildren, Mario Sanchez, Marisa Stauffer (Shawn) and Miranda Guth (Matt); his great grandchildren, Logan Sanchez, Cameron Stauffer, Max Guth, Madeline and Kendall Stauffer; his niece Karen Mills (Gustavo Urdaneta); and his nephew Jorge Sanchez.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the John Quint Treboni Funeral Home (1177 W 5th Ave, Columbus, OH 43212). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
