She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Schmidt and Alma Schmidt (Rausch); her husband Robert; her siblings, Roland, Lawrence Schmidt and Magdalene McCoy; her nephew Michael McCoy; her grandson Nicolas Borgia; and her niece Jolene Botts (Schmidt).
She is survived by: her children, Vicki (Dennis Trainor), Robert Kris (Barbara) and Gayle McKay (Gary); and her grandchildren, Rachael Pisanelli, Christian Pettit, Jonathon Pettit, Leah Green and Lindsey Borgia. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, family is requesting you purchase a tree through the Ferguson Funeral Home website in her memory, donations may be made to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, with "Local Missions" noted, or OhioHealth Hospice House c/o OhioHealth Foundation, 3430 OhioHealth Parkway, Columbus, OH 43202, or a charity of the donor's choice.
