She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ayres and Maxine McCoy Ayres; her former husband Elwood Cogswell; her husband Roger Bowers; and her sister Maxine "Sue" Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Maxwell (Teresa) and Jeana Cogswell; her granddaughters, Stephanie Denton (Neil) and Emily Maxwell (Gage); and her sisters, Madaline "Jean" Spence (Jack), Linda "Lynn" Davis and Helen "Sunny" Kreps.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Snouffer Funeral Home (1150 Military Rd, Zanesville, OH 43701). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Snouffer Chapel (1150 Military Rd, Zanesville, OH 43701).
