He is survived by: his children, Angela Dusenbery, April Morris (Larry), Adonia Grant (Doug Collopy), David R. Gibbs, Jr., Gene Gibbs (Tracey) and Scott Gibbs (Kathy). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 1 great great granddaughter.
