She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew J. Rupe and Erma I. Rupe (Cullison); her significant other Skipper Pletcher; her siblings, LeRoy Cullison, Louis Rupe, Melvin Rupe (Cassandra) and Mary Starcher (Melvin); and her nephew Austin Evans.
She is survived by: her sons, Shad Hiles, Shawn Hiles and Gary Evans Jr.; her stepsons, Travis Pletcher, Kippy Pletcher and Toby Pletcher; her grandchildren, Tracey Hiles and Brodie Strate; her great grandchild Levi Strate; her nieces and nephews, Peggy Pletcher (Terry), Melissa Harris, Sherry Bowers (Everett), Hope McElfresh (Jon), Matthew Evans, Andrew Starcher, Gary Evans, Ronnie Evans, Kelly Newman (Paul), Elizaeth Guthrie (Trevor), Julie Rupe, Harold Cullison (Jackie), Carla Cullison and Tina Cullison; her sister-in-law Charlene Rupe; her caregiver Kayla Pletcher; her close friend Pug; her grandmother Betty Dunkle; and her pets, Ziggy, Mary and Bruiser. She is also survived by several cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls (383 Main St, Duncan Falls, OH 43734). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
