He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Scott and Mildred McInturf Scott; his wife Carmelita Janes Scott; his son Chris Scott; and his siblings, Norma, Kaye Scott and Douglas Scott.
He is survived by: his daughter Carla Ankrom (Randy) of Corning; his daughter-in-law Carol Scott of Cadiz; his grandchildren, Chase Temple (Kaleigh), Denise Taylor (Robert Jr), Chavez Gregg and Chaz McConnell; his great grandchildren, Hunter Temple, Kinzleigh Temple and Kaci Mizer; and his cousin Ruth Ann Scott.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Matheney Funeral Home (165 N Kennebec Ave, McConnelsville, OH 43756). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at the Pennsville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pennsville Church of Christ or the Pennsville Fire Dept.
