Dwight Frater Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dwight Frater of Dunkirk, Ohio, who passed away on December 28, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dwight Frater to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Frater and Irene Frater (Williams); his wife Diana Hinkle; his son-in-law Bradley Epling; and his brothers, Robert, Raymond and Tom Frater.

He is survived by: his children, Angela Frater of Dunkirk, Stefani Epling of Dunkirk and Venard Frater (Marcella) of Dunkirk; his brother Keith Frater of Wharton; his grandchildren, Riana Johnson, Lena Johnson, Bianca Epling, Gabriel Epling, Rowan Frater, Rayne Frater and Rune Frater; and his great grandchildren, Violet Johnson, Hunter Johnson, Ryleigh Milliron, Averie Milliron and Arietty Clark. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Dwight's honor may be made to the Hardin Northern Community Center.
