He was predeceased by: his parents, Flave A. Betteridge and Mildred C. Betteridge (Grafton); and his siblings, Virginia Mae Ferguson, Raymond Betteridge and John "Jack" Betteridge.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia K. "Ginnie" Betteridge; his daughters, Nanci Bush (Mike) and Nicole Elick (Mark); his grandsons, Tanner Elick and Zane Elick; and his sister Joyce Bell.
