She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Burris and Grace Derouin Burris; her husband George F. Thayer; her children, Connie McDevitt, William F. "Bill" Thayer and Gary T. Thayer; and her siblings, Joyce Osburn, Homer "Sonny" Burris and Robert Burris.
She is survived by: her children, Sally Ann Murray (Robert) of Lisbon, Joyce Louise Thayer of Jonesboro and Richard C. "Dick" Thayer (Karen) of Calcutta; her grandsons, Rich (Aron) and Tyler Thayer (Brittany); her great grandchildren, Grayson Thayer, Cassius Thayer, Landon Sayre, Noah Sayre and Greg Sayre; and her brother Paul Burris of East Liverpool.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dawson Funeral Home (215 W 5th St, East Liverpool, OH 43920). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
