He was predeceased by: his parents, William Millhorn and Alma Millhorn (Rudibaugh); and his wife Mary Millhorn (Lane). He is survived by: his children, Amy Carlier (Fred) and Robert Millhorn, Jr.; his granddaughters, Courtney Diddle (Trenton), Brittany Lefevers (Jacob) and Madison Millhorn; and his great grandchildren, Emilia, Ivy Diddle, Levi Lefevers and Lilly Lefevers.
