He was predeceased by: his parents, Marlin "Bud" Claypool and Margaret Claypool (Hull). He is survived by: his wife Madeline Claypool (Tusar); his daughters, Laura Turner (Steve) and Lisa Smith (Phillip); and his sister Peggy Sutherin (Bill).
