With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard E. Sutherin of East Palestine, Ohio, who passed away on August 4, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Sutherin and Mabel Sutherin (Huston); his wife Lois Sutherin; his grandson James D. Little III; and his brothers, Leroy, Glen, Wilbur Sutherin and Wilford Cope.

He is survived by: his children, Howard Sutherin, Jr. (Theresa) of Newnan, GA., Bonnie Buhecker of Darlington, Nancy Jones (Rodger) of East Palestine and Brenda Reed (Sammy) of Roanoke Rapids, NC; and his brother Gene Cope (Babe) of Darlington. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
