Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jean Freer of East Palestine, Ohio, born in Rochester, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 84, on October 27, 2022. She was predeceased by : her parents, George Dickson and Rebecca Taggart Dickson; her son Mark Whitehead (Howard "Howdy" Freer); and her sisters, Duira McFarland and Shirley Simon.

She is survived by : her granddaughter Farah Whitehead of East Palestine, OH; her stepchildren, Tessa Tanis (Freer) and Tedd Freer; her niece Sandra Rose (Simon); and her nephews, Dave Muransky and John Simon.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made to the Special Olympics.
