With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Russell R. Sherrill of East Palestine, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Russell left this world on June 13, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Sherrill and Elnora Berresford Sherrill; and his sister Margaret Cox. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Knight Sherrill; his daughters, Melissa Trahan (Matt) of Lakewood and Jessica Correia (TJ Wallenhorst) of Twinsburg; his grandchildren, Ilyana Correia, Wyland Correia, Sylah Correia, Adelya Wallenhorst and Zayden Wallenhorst; and his siblings, Mary Taylor, John Sherrill (Nancy), Sonja McIntosh, David Sherrill, Edward Sherrill (Gerry), Charlene Green (Mike) and Darlene Kohn (Bill).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home (60 W Martin St, East Palestine, OH 44413). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
