He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Thurston and Anita Thurston; and his brother Larry. He is survived by: his wife Dianne James; and his children, Doreen Hudy (Tom), Russell and Michael Thurston. He is also survived by grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and 2 step great grandchildren.
