He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Garris and Sara Garris (Gilbert). He is survived by : his wife Barbara Garris; his daughters, Donna Craver (Steve) and Karla Meeker (Scott); his grandchildren, Amanda Slepko (Joe), Ashley Manley (Dan), Ethan, Elliott and Emerson Meeker; and his great grandchildren, Ben, Theo, Everleigh Slepko, Henry and Alex Manley.
