It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet M. Mills (Eastlake, Ohio), born in Lonaconing, Maryland, who passed away on August 20, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond Metz and Mary Metz (Foote); her husband Edward Paul Mills; her siblings, Agnes Cooper (late William) and Raymond Metz (late Dorothy); her siblings-in-law, Francis "Reggie" Mills, Joseph Mills (late Betty), Bernadette "Dana" Murphy (late Charles "Murph"), Mary John "Sis" Barclay Wilmoth (late Frank) and William "Wink" Mills (Jo); her stepgranddaughter Michelle Drury; and her nieces, Rosemary Murphy and Patty Johnson (Metz).
She is survived by : her children, Joseph Mills (Ellen), John Mills (Barb), Mary Kochert (Dennis Welker) and Diana Drury (Jim); her grandchildren, Ed Mills (Carla Davidson), Megan Mills, Angela Mills and Laura Staubs (Will); her stepgrandson Mike Drury (Heather); and her brother-in-law James "Brennie" Mills (late Ann). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Willoughby Hills United Methodist Church, Hospice of the Western Reserve, or the charity of your choice.
