We announce the death of Joseph C. Strand of Eastlake, Ohio, who passed away on September 12, 2026, at the age of 87. Joseph will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Strand and Elizabeth Strand; and his brother James Strand. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy J. Strand; his children, Christine Hobart (David), Barbara Bramley (David), Joseph C. Strand II (Billie Jo) and Angela Walls (Shannon); his grandchildren, Megan Hobart, Patrick Hobart (Kaylee), David Bramley II, Katherine Bramley (Salvatore), Joshua Bramley, Joseph Strand (Bernadette), Devin Strand, Abbie Priel and Melanie Priel; and his nephew James Strand Jr..
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home (38001 Euclid Ave, Willoughby, OH 44094). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Justin Martyr Church (35781 Stevens Blvd, Eastlake, OH 44095).
