He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert T. Elliott and Nannie Elliott (White); and his siblings, Helen, Robert Lee, James, Laura and Paul.

He is survived by: his children, JoAnn Barko and Steven Elliott (Chelsa); his grandchildren, William Jr., Cory, Timothy, Jacqueline, Brittany, Steven Jr., Jessica, Calista, Hunter and Isabella; and his great grandchild Lea Snell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
