He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert J. Hume and Cora Hume (Davis); his wife Josephine Hume; and his son-in-law George Ashbrook. He is survived by: his children, Robert Hume (Laurie) of Dayton, OH, Edward Hume (Linda) of Sidney, OH, Courtney Ashbrook of Tucson, AZ, Rita McFarland of Sugarloaf, CA, Wilma McKee-Brown of Eaton, OH, Lynn Stapleton-Fugate (Ryan) of Portland, OR and Dennis Vallery (Marie) of Tucson, AZ; and his sister Barbara Brown of Sun City, CA. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.

Memorial contributions may be sent to the VA Hospice.
