With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Carol Muncy of Eaton, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 20, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell E. McCarty and Erma F. McCarty (Mullins); her husband Willard "Buddy" Muncy, Jr.; her son Kurt D. Muncy; and her sister Sharon Lawless.
She is survived by: her son Jeffrey S. Muncy (Julie); her siblings, Steve McCarty (Charlene) and Patricia Waddell; her brother-in-law James K. Lawless; her grandchildren, Lauren Johnston (Walker), Jenna Muncy, Kate Duskey and Tiffany Ann Hess; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Caiden, Susie, Amelia, Rosie and Atticus.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Barnes Funeral Home - Eaton (220 E Main St, Eaton, OH 45320). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Barnes Funeral Home (220 E Main St, Eaton, OH 45320). A burial was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at the Mound Hill Cemetery (254 Camden Rd, Eaton, OH 45320).
